What personal data is stored in JĀNIS ROZE datbase?

Jānis Roze Ltd. collects and processes only the information that buyers submit about themselves, for example, by registering in the Company's online store - https://www.janisroze.lv, purchasing a "Jānis Roze Buyer's Card" or participating in one of the company's sales organized by the company.

The obtained personal data by Jānis Roze is divided into two groups:

• Basic personal data. Basic personal data includes: name and surname; communication sources - e-mail and telephone number; place of residence information - city, address, postal code; consent to data processing and consent to receive individual offers.
• Analytical data. Analytical data includes data obtained from a web browser - cookies.

In order to take advantage of all privileges and special offers for users, the fields marked with an asterisk (*) must be filled in on the registration form, indicating the mandatory identification data of a natural person. These are:

When a customer applies for participation in the loyalty program - Jānis Roze buyer's card.

Participation in the Jānis Roze loyalty program envisages receiving special offers and discounts in the stores of the Jānis Roze sales network. Upon registration, the Client is issued a Client Card, which is personalized and linked to a specific person.

Personal data is needed to determine who owns a particular buyer's card, as well as to communicate with the customer in case of loss or renewal of the card. When registering to receive a personalized Customer Card, the Customer must provide the following information:

• Name and Surname - for identification of a natural person;
• E-mail and phone number - for communication between the company and the client;
• Consent to data processing - basic condition for user registration in the company's database and permission to process and store the submitted data;
• Consent to receive news about the offer of goods - this is a voluntary choice;
• Date and Signature - confirmation of data accuracy and consent.

The information submitted by a person for participation in the loyalty program is intended to verify the affiliation of the Customer's card to a particular person, as well as to ensure mutual communication.

Processing data of video surveillance

To take care of the safety of customers and employees of Jānis Roze Ltd., video surveillance is performed in the trade premises of the company. The obtained video surveillance recordings, i.e. the image of a natural person, the location in the trading hall, the activities and time performed there, in case of a criminal offense can be used to identify the fact of the offense and the perpetrator.

The implementation of video surveillance in trade premises is carried out for the purpose to:

• Improve the safety of customers and company employees;
• Obtain information in case of incident investigation;
• Ensure the protection of company’s property in cases of criminal offense.

In order for Jānis Roze Ltd. customers to be informed and feel safe in the places where video surveillance is performed, appropriate warning signs are placed at the entrance of the stores.

Video surveillance takes place in real time and, by default videos are stored for up to 30 days. If a criminal offense is being detected, the video recordings are being kept for a longer period for the needs of an administrative or criminal case.
