Leo autumn 2017Dear Reader,

Are you enjoying autumn time? Have you thrown autumn leaves in the air to catch them? Have you wallowed in the fallen leaves? Have you allowed yourself to be childish and careless? Have you been to a bookstore to buy a book for your inner child? Have you learned to say clear yes to the things you like and clear no to the things you don’t enjoy? I hope so.

We grow up but it is very important to go on learning from the inner child that still lives in us, to guard our borders and not think what others will think about us. And show your pleasure and happiness whenever you feel like it, not when it is appropriate.

And, of course, we can learn being open from kids. A kid won’t read a book only because he has started reading it. He will read it only if he like it, right? If he’s keen to find out what is going to happen next.
The answer to a question of how to make children love reading is basically one. They have to see that their parents love it. Kids reflect what they see in their parents’ eyes and behavior. Another important thing is to allow kids chose the books what they want to read without saying “Tonight we’re reading this”. This is sentence your kid has to use. :) He will know. Trust him.

As a tomcat I really like the book called “Mr. Postmouse's Rounds”. I love trying to catch the mouse whenever it is delivering packages and letters to all kinds of animals. It’s fun! I recommend it! I hope Postmouse brings me something too, so that I can meet it in real life. :)

Don’t lose the spark, dear reader! Read what you love!

Best,
Your Leo
